About Me

My name is Julie, and I've been in education since 2014 and helping students get to their dream college since 2017.

I am a Latina that was born and raised in Southern California. I was the first person in my family to go to a 4-year college. I went to Skidmore College in New York and received my Bachelor's degree in Biology. After a 1 year break from school, I continued my education in California and received my Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands.

Before I entered high school, I knew I wanted to go off to college. My parents recognized that I would need more insight than they had to offer. I was very fortunate that they were able to hire a college admissions consultant who was my thoughtful college planner. She opened my eyes to all the possibilities I didn't know existed. Because of her guidance, and of course my own hard work, I was able to go to the college of my dreams. That experience inspired me to pay it forward! With the onset of the pandemic, this decision feels more crucial than ever for Gen Z, and my mission is to help students be more thoughtful with finding the college that's the best fit for them and leads to a happier, brighter, and more compassionate version of themselves.
